A Small Memory, Swirling In Her Head Empty A Small Memory, Swirling In Her Head

She pretended it didn't hurt her. She acted like she didn't still feel the pain. No, not from the wound that still showed against her pale skin, but from the memories that crowded into her main thinking, all vying for attention. She shook her head hard, a tiny ticked off frown appearing on her face. She didn't have the energy for this today.

She shoved her ear buds into her ears and let out a loud sigh. Music better help this... Oh Mamma, I'm in fear for my life, from the long arm of the law. Hangman is coming down from the gallows, and it won't take very long...

A couple more lines, and she was no longer sitting in a tree, safe at the little demi-god camp. She was back home in Manhattan, Nick's arms around her, driving for their life in her Impala. Which she hadn't been able to bring here anyway.

A Small Memory, Swirling In Her Head Empty Re: A Small Memory, Swirling In Her Head

Maire had been kicking around the Woods, trying to figure out what she was going to do next. Not that the place was boring or anything; Maire was just bored herself. She could never find herself at the archery range or sparring with another demi-god; it just was not her. Maybe if she had made an effort to socialise with the others she would have more fun but Maire was a shy girl; anything such as socialising was not a part of her personality.

Looking up, Maire noticed that it was a rather nice day. Of course it would be nice; whatever Mr. D wanted was what they got and he liked the sun. Maire wasn't sure if she did or did not. Sure it felt great against her skin but it also made her drowsy. She blamed Apollo. Although she was still new to the place, she knew about Greek mythology; she had learned about it for several years in school and she found herself at the library always researching more. Of course the books would always conflict with each other but Maire managed to extract a general truth which was more than enough for her.

Maire's ears perked up as she heard another muffled sound. Turning towards her right, she noticed another girl in the Woods. Maire had thought she was alone but apparently that was not the case. She walked up to the girl quietly and studied her. The girl was walking around, listening to some song. It must have been good as the girl continued walking, obviously entranced by something. Maire had a slight fear that the girl was lost. Either that or the girl wanted some alone time. Maire figured that it would be worth a try though. She cautiously approached the girl and tapped her on the shoulders. "Hello?"

Andi was sitting in a tree enjoying the muffled sun-rays on her skin. Hearing something she looked down. There was a girl a little ways away walking twords her. She didn't think that the girl had seen her, so she climbed down the tree quietly as of not to startle her.

"Hello," a girl said in the distance. Andi couln't see her because she was covered by the thick greenery. The first girl she saw turned at the voice. She was much closer to Andi now. She stepped on a branch and it snapped. The first girl looked at her. She had a puzzled look, like I just dropped out of nowhere. "Hello. I'm Andi, Andi Write." After she said this, she could see the second girl nearing them.

Ama jumped halfway out of her skin. Two girls had randomly surrounded her, and she had no idea who the heck they were. Adrenaline rushed through her veins, a fight-or-flight instinct picked up in her brain, and she clenched her fists. They were probably demi-gods, but she couldn't get her brain to cooperate. Amarina Zale did not get surrounded. And then one of the touched her. Ama swiftly stepped out of the way, to avoid being tapped again, and nodded at them both. "Hello." They were now standing an equidistance away, in a misshapen triumvante. This made Ama feel a molecular bit better. "I am Amarina Aidin Zale. And you are..."

Andi looked at the girl obviously startled. "I'm sorry, I diddn't mean to startle you. Incase you missed it, I'm Andi Write. Annaleigh's twin sister if you've met her. Hello," she said adressing the other girl." I'm afaid I don't know you. As you just heard, I'm Andi." She stuck out her hand. She never did this, but it seemed formal.

"Hey, what are you listening to?" She said pointing at the Amarina's device, portruding from her ears. "My ipod died a long time ago, and I've been to lazy to charge it lately." Andi looked around at the trees remembering the last time she was here.
